Hello all,
I was reading the Local Life section of the Norwich Evening News and was pleased that there’s so much great charity work going on in the city.
Here’s a run down:
Chatterbox Norwich
Chatterbox is a talking newspaper which helps the blind and partially sighted get their dose of the news. News reports are recorded in MP3 format and are free to download from the site. They’ve been running for over 30 years! Congratulations!
Norwich Mind
Mind, the Norwich based mental health charity, currently have an appeal for unwanted bicycles. This is a great way to help raise funds for charity. They are also supplying the bikes to clients. Exercise not only keeps you fit but is also a great way to combat depression. Got an unused bike? Then get in touch with Sandra – details below:

Great Ormond Street Hospital
It’s not a local charity but it’s being supported by local yummy Norwich restaurant Tooties. They’re helping raise funds for the hospital. Every junior burger will help add £1 to the charity funds. So far they’ve managed to raise £1400 and pledge will continue to the end of the month.
Go for a meal soon to help support the hospital. Tootsies can be found at the Chapelfield Shopping Centre in Norwich.
Visit the Great Ormond Street Hospital Website
Keep up all the great work!
